Mr. Koczela joined Quinn and Morris in 2000 and is currently the Vice President of Government Relations and Public Affairs. He develops and implements legislative and regulatory strategy on matters pending before the Massachusetts state and municipal governments for the firm’s international and national clients, local corporations and associations.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Koczela served as Chief of Staff to Chairman Daniel E. Bosley in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1987 to 1992.

In 1992, he joined the John Hancock Financial Services Company as a Senior Legislative Consultant for government relations.  He was responsible for all matters related to the Massachusetts state government.  While working for John Hancock he served on the government affairs committees for the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, the Life Insurance Association of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Business Roundtable.

Mr. Koczela is a current member of the Associated Industries of Massachusetts Public Affairs Committee and Chemical Study Group.  He is a graduate of Fitchburg State University.
